The Select Promotion Template step in the guided flow lists the templates that
marketing managers and loyalty program managers use to create the promotion’s rules. When using
Global Promotions Management templates on this step, you can also offer loyalty-specific
rewards. In addition, you also have access to loyalty-specific templates.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited,
and Developer Editions with Loyalty Management
Pricing Templates
When using pricing templates in Loyalty Management, you can offer loyalty rewards in addition to
pricing rewards to all program members or specific tiers. Supported loyalty reward types
are:
Badges
For example, all eligible loyalty program members get the top shopper
badge.
Points
For example, all eligible loyalty members who are part of the Platinum
tier get 500 non-qualifying points.
Multiplier-based points
For example, all eligible loyalty program members
receive points equal to 10 times their transaction amount.
Loyalty Promotion Templates
You also have access to these loyalty
promotion templates.
Accrual Events: Use the Accrual Events template to create rules that reward members of
the company’s loyalty program when the members complete an eligible accrual event.
Loyalty program managers can decide the accrual event that’s eligible for the promotion
and add the event as a journal subtype of the journal type Accrual.
The rule can offer the members rewards such as points, vouchers, badges, and games.
Engagement Trail: Use the Engagement Trail template to create rules that reward the
loyalty program members when they complete activity-driven milestones. Loyalty program
managers can create different milestones with different activities and attract members to
complete a few eligible activities to earn rewards. Engagement trail tracks long-term
member behavior.
Rule Configuration with Loyalty Promotion Template Create a promotion rule by using the configuration options available on loyalty promotion templates. Use the templates to reward only the members of the loyalty program. You can’t use loyalty promotion templates if the promotion isn’t associated with a loyalty program.
