Most-Used Apps Insights

This tab displays up to ten of your apps with the most pageviews over the last seven days. For each app, it calculates a Performance Score based on its Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), or the time it takes to render the app’s largest visual element on the screen. The score is calculated as follows:

  • Good - LCP less than or equal to 2.5 seconds.
  • Needs Improvement - LCP greater than 2.5 seconds and less than 4 seconds.
  • Poor - LCP greater than or equal to 4.0 seconds.

You can also see the following Key Metrics in this tab.

Metric Details
Largest Contentful Paint Time (ms) it takes to render the largest visual element on the screen, indicating when the page's main content has loaded. The dashboard measures LCP using the 75th percentile (P75), meaning 75% of all page loads were at this speed or faster. P75 provides a better picture of the user experience for slower performance than the median (P50) or average.
Total Page Views Total number of page views over the last seven days. You can use it as a way to track increasing usage of your Salesforce implementation.
Average Page Views Average number of page views over the last seven days.
Average Daily Active Users (DAU) The average DAU over the last seven days. DAU is the count of unique users who visited your site.

To see more detailed analytics for an app, click View Details on the app’s card in Most-Used Apps Insights or click the app name in the navigation bar at the top of the dashboard.

First Contentful Paint Time (ms) from when the page starts loading to when any part of the page's content is rendered on the screen.
Experience Page Time Time (ms) a page takes to become fully interactive, a Salesforce performance metric.

Performance and Usage Trends

The Performance Trends chart helps you identify and understand performance patterns. You can see when performance is spiking, whether performance is degrading over time, or if recent changes have improved page load times.

The Performance Trends chart tracks data over the last seven days for these metrics:

  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)

  • Time to First Byte (TTFB)

  • First Contentful Paint (FCP)

  • Experience Page Time (EPT)

  • Interaction to Next Paint (INP)

Next to Performance Trends, the Usage Trends chart monitors the scale of your org's activity. By evaluating page view and DAU data trends over the last seven days, you can visualize how usage patterns shift over time.

Performance and Usage by Region or Country

You can also visualize LCP data geographically using the Performance by Region or Country map. Hover over highlighted areas of the map to see performance metrics for a specific geographical area over the last seven days.

The Usage by Region or Country map offers geographic insights into your org’s reach and user base. Hover over highlighted areas to see usage metrics for a region or country.

Performance and Usage by Browser

The Performance by Browser bar chart compares LCP measurements for different browsers. Hover over a bar to see additional performance metrics for a specific browser.

The Usage by Browser pie chart breaks down your app’s total page views by browser. Hover over a slice to see more usage metrics for a browser.
