Learn About an Upcoming Patch Release

See the bug fixes and minor enhancements planned for an upcoming patch release. If the fixes and enhancements are related to customer cases or known issues, view the patch’s release notes when they’re available.

  1. Go to my.trust.salesforce.com.
  2. If you’re not logged in, log in using a Salesforce account associated with your Salesforce tenants, such as your Trailblazer account.
  3. Find the upcoming patch release that you want to learn about.
    • To search for it in the upcoming events affecting your tenants, click the Upcoming Maintenance tab.
    • To search for it based on a specific tenant, click Tenants, and then in the row for the tenant, click View Details.
  4. In the row for the patch release that you want to learn about, click View Details.

You see the release’s scheduled start and end times and any of your services, products, and tenants that the release affects. You also see any status updates related to the release.

  5. To view the patch’s release notes, click View Patch Release Notes if you see that button.

You see the patch’s release notes, which you can search in or scroll through. Each release note includes a work item ID and description. For a fix of a known issue, a release note also includes a link to the page for the issue and the number of cases reported for the issue.

For how to view a patch’s release notes from up to one year ago, see View a Tenant’s Events.
