Calendar Scheduler for Partners

Calendar sync connects a partner user's Google or Microsoft calendar to Salesforce through Einstein Activity Capture (EAC). Salesforce Scheduler uses the connected calendar to calculate appointment availability. When customers book appointments on an Experience Cloud site, the available time slots account for the partner user's external calendar commitments. Calendar sync reduces scheduling conflicts without showing customers the details of external events.

The calendar sync process involves three participants. A Salesforce admin configures EAC and Salesforce Scheduler. A partner user connects an external account from the Experience Cloud site. A customer then chooses an available appointment time. Each partner user connects their own account and grants EAC the access required by the email provider.
