Loyalty Components in Your Partner Portal

Loyalty Components in Your Partner Portal

Give partners a consolidated view of the loyalty status, points, benefits, and activities that apply to their account.

Required Editions

Available in: Partner Central and Partner Central (Enhanced)

Loyalty programs are configured and managed in Salesforce. Add Loyalty Management components to your partner portal to give partners a consolidated view of the program information that applies to their account. The portal shows loyalty information for the partner account that's enrolled in the program.

Loyalty Information Available to Partners

Loyalty Management components give partners access to these types of loyalty information:

  • Loyalty points: Qualifying or nonqualifying currency that partners earn through program activities. Qualifying currency determines tier eligibility, and nonqualifying currency is available for redemption.

  • Tier status: The partner's current tier in a tier group. Tiers, such as Silver, Gold, or Diamond, are based on qualifying-currency thresholds.

  • Tier benefits: Benefits associated with the partner's tier, such as access to specific rewards or experiences.

  • Accrual activities: Activities that award points for partner actions and show partners how to earn more points.

Page and Record Context

The Loyalty Management components show information only on a loyalty program record detail page. The components aren't supported on other page types because they use the loyalty program record context to load program data for the partner account.

In Experience Builder, open the Loyalty Programs object and create an object page for loyalty program records. Add components from the Loyalty Management section of the component palette, and keep the components on the loyalty program record detail page.

Partner Account and Data Access

Before partners view loyalty information, add the partner account as a loyalty program member. Give partner users access to the loyalty program records and related data that the components retrieve.

Record access determines which benefits and activities appear to partner users. Configure permissions and sharing for loyalty program records, benefits, activities, and other related data according to your company's data-access requirements. For example, Public Read Only sharing makes benefits and activities available to users who have record access. Review the sensitivity of your loyalty data before selecting an organization-wide default.

Example
Example Ursa Major Solar enrolls a partner account in a loyalty program. On the loyalty program record page in the partner portal, partner users review their Gold tier, available points, Gold-tier benefits, and activities that award more points.
