- Partner Connect doesn’t support custom object sharing and synchronization.
- Partner Connect doesn’t share related records during exports or updates. But partners can still view the related records on the vendor’s partner site.
- Vendor admins select which objects and fields to integrate, and they choose which fields to include for export. From those exported fields, they can also choose which fields send and receive updates between vendor and partner Salesforce orgs. The admins can make these selections by editing the object sync flow in the Flow Builder.
- Partner Connect doesn’t support integrating most lookup fields, and those fields can’t send or receive updates.
- Partners can attempt to export up to 100 records from a vendor’s partner site at one time.
- Partner Connect doesn’t support integrating encrypted fields, whether they use Classic Encryption or Shield Platform Encryption.
- To maintain optimal performance, Salesforce limits the number of Lightning Platform API requests that each org can make in a 24-hour period. Partner Connect exports, imports, and updates can push a partner org to that limit, based on its Salesforce edition and daily API allowance. Data volume and record volume within 24 hours also affect how quickly the org reaches the limit. If your company hits the limit often, invite fewer partner users to export records or map fewer fields between orgs.
