Configure the loyalty program, currencies, tier groups, benefits, and accrual activities. Identify the partner account that participates in the program.
Loyalty Management components require the context of a loyalty program record. Add the components only to the loyalty program record detail page.
- Open your partner portal in Experience Builder.
-
Add Loyalty Programs to the portal navigation.
- Open the multi-level navigation menu configuration.
- Add a menu item named Loyalty Programs.
- Link the menu item to the Loyalty Programs object.
- Create an object page for loyalty program records, and use the loyalty program record detail page as the target of the Loyalty Programs navigation item.
- From the Loyalty Management section of the component palette, add the components that show the partner's program status, points, benefits, accrual activities, and transaction journals to the loyalty program record detail page.
- Save and publish the portal changes.
- Add the partner account as a member of the loyalty program.
-
Assign partner users either the View Loyalty Details permission
set or the Partner CloudPartnerUserPsg permission set group.
Also give partner users object access to loyalty program records and related data, including Product, Journal Type, and Journal SubType records.
-
Configure sharing for the loyalty benefits and activities that the components
retrieve.
Select sharing settings that meet your company's data-access requirements. For example, Public Read Only organization-wide defaults provide read access when the users also have the required object access.
- Log in as a partner user and verify the Loyalty Programs navigation item, loyalty program record page, and loyalty data.
A vendor awards partners redeemable points for closing opportunities. On the loyalty program record page, a partner reviews its point balance, current tier, tier benefits, and eligible accrual activities.
If expected benefits or activities don't appear, verify the partner account's program membership, the partner user's permissions, and record sharing. For more information, see Loyalty Management.
