Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions in Manufacturing Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud, with required add-ons.

A Pricing Key Type is a combination of key attributes used to search for specific pricing conditions. Most common keys (such as account, account hierarchy, and product) can be defined directly in the Anchor Type section. More flexible custom keys can be mapped using Key Attributes (up to 10 key attributes).

  1. Create the Record.
    1. From the App Launcher, find and select Pricing Key Type, and then click New.
    2. Enter a Name.
    3. Select a Context Definition (for example, AdvOrderSalesTxnContext__stdctx).
    4. Optionally, search for and select an Internal Organization Unit.
    5. Click Save to create the pricing key type.
  2. Configure Attributes in the Builder.
    1. Open the pricing key type record, and click the Expression Set Versions link to launch the Business Rules Engine builder.
    2. In the builder, configure the Pricing Key Type element card:
      • Distribution Category: Select the applicable distribution category (for example, All).
      • Anchor Type: Select the applicable checkboxes to define participating dimensions:
        • Consider Account And Account Hierarchy
        • Consider Product And Product Hierarchy
        • Consider Account Hierarchy Only
        • Consider Product Hierarchy Only
        • Consider Actionable List
        • Consider Internal Organization Unit
        • Consider Promotion
      • Key Attribute Mapping: Map each key attribute (Key 1 through Key 10) to its context attribute mapping tag. Click Add Row to add additional rows.
    3. Click Save, and then click Activate to make the key type available.
