Editions and Permissions for Penny Perfect Pricing

Confirm the editions, add-on licenses, and organization-level permissions required before you configure or use Penny Perfect Pricing.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions in Manufacturing Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud, with required add-ons.

Penny Perfect Pricing is available in Manufacturing Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud.

  • Verify Required Add-Ons
    Ensure that the required add-on licenses are active in your Salesforce organization.
  • Assign Permission Set Licenses
    Assign permission set licenses (PSLs) to administrators and sales representatives so they can configure and use pricing features.
  • Verify Permission Set Licenses
    Confirm that your organization has the required system-level license definitions provisioned.
  • Enable Features
    Enable mandatory underlying features across your Salesforce org.
  • Verify the Data Processing Engine
    Penny Perfect Pricing uses the Data Processing Engine (DPE) to consolidate large volumes of ERP pricing conditions into optimized lookup tables.
  • Assign Standard Permission Sets
    Assign the standard permission sets that ship with Penny Perfect Pricing to grant administrators and sales users access to pricing tasks — you don't need to build these from scratch.
