Needed
To use the Preference Manager Builder:
ManagePreferenceManager
Before you upload your record IDs, make sure that your file is in CSV format, doesn’t
contain commas, and that each record ID is on a separate line. Enter the first record ID in
the second row of your CSV file. The first row is reserved for column headers and isn’t
processed by the token generator.
From the Preference Manager dashboard, select Access Tokens, and
click Upload Record Ids.
Click Upload .
Click Next, and wait for the tokens to generate.
The access tokens appear on the Preference Manager dashboard with their corresponding
record IDs. A CSV format version also downloads to your browser.
Append the access token string ?pctoken=[token string] to the
website URL of your published site and send this URL to your users to give them access to
the preference form without logging in.
Example
URL of your published website and the generated access token:
https://acme.ebikes.com/acme/s/preference-settings
Full URL with appended access token:
