            Change Your Notification Settings for a Document

            You can override your default notification settings for a document.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Quip desktop app, Quip iOS mobile app, and Quip on web
            1. Open the document or folder.
            2. From the Document or Folder menu, select Advanced | Notification Setting.
              The setting that you select remains in effect if you change your account-level default notification settings later.

            You can apply custom notification settings to every item in a folder by changing the notification settings for the folder.
