This content relates to Security Center Essentials. Licensed Security Center customers get the full-featured, multitenant version with additional capabilities.

  • Security Center Essentials is automatically available and visible in Production orgs and Full and Partial Copy sandboxes. Developer and Developer Pro sandboxes need to turn the feature on to start collecting metrics data.
  • Security Center Essentials provides security posture information for a single org only. If you want more security metrics or metrics for multiple tenants, talk to your Salesforce account executive about the Security Center add-on license.
  • Security Center Essentials dashboard data is collected automatically once per week and stored for 30 days. You can manually refresh metric data as often as once per hour.
