Fixed Classification Attributes
Core classification attributes are always visible on the Fields list and can't be removed or reordered.
- Object
- Shows the name of the object or object label whose fields appear. Select an object in the navigation pane or search for and select it from Advanced Filters.
- Field
- Shows the field label that appears on the object and related records.
- Sensitivity Level
- Lets you specify during classification how sensitive a field's data is, as aligned with your internal information security policies. There are five default color-coded levels: Public (blue), Internal (green, default), Confidential (orange), Restricted (purple), and Mission Critical (yellow). Admins can also create custom sensitivity levels and edit the defaults in Setup.
Additional Classification Attributes
You can select additional classification attributes and adjust their order on the Fields list.
- Compliance Category
- Lets you specify regulatory frameworks that apply to a field's data during classification. For example, CCPA, GDPR, and HIPAA. A field can have multiple compliance categories. Removing a compliance category does not affect the field's sensitivity level and removing a sensitivity level does not affect the compliance category.
- Data Owner
- Lets you specify the user or group designated as responsible for a field's data during classification.
- Data Type
- Shows the type of data the field can accept as specified on the field metadata. For example, text, number, or boolean.
- Description
- Shows the field's description on the object.
- Field API Name
- Shows the field's name in the Salesforce API.
- Field Usage
- Lets you specify how actively a field is used within the org during classification.
- Fill Rate
- Shows the estimated percent of records that have a value in a specific field as calculated from a sample of fields.
- Help Text
- Shows any custom help text added to the field on the object.
- Object API Name
- Shows the object's unique name in the Salesforce API.
