Upload a Root Certificate

Add a certificate to your trust store by uploading a root certificate in a supported format.

Note
Note The Certificate Trust Store supports Named Credentials integrations only. All other external connections rely on root certificates included in the global, Salesforce-managed trust store.

User Permissions Needed
To create, edit, and manage certificates: Manage Certificates
   
  1. From Setup, use the Quick Find box to find and select Certificate Trust Store.
  2. Select New Certificate.
  3. Enter a unique name.
    This name is used primarily by administrators when viewing certificates.
  4. Upload or drop a root certificate file in either .pem or .der format.
  5. Save your work.
    After you upload the certificate, the status of the certificate changes to Active and you can use it.
