Review Org Health and Usage Metrics

A Heads Up banner at the top of the page summarizes how many metrics need attention and which to prioritize. You can make a metric easy to find by marking it Favorite, or keep it out of sight by marking it Hidden. Salesforce maintains your Favorite and Hidden metrics as user preferences.

Take Action from a Health and Usage Card

Color-coded cards represent health or usage metrics or a set of metrics related to a specific area of a Salesforce product. The cards requiring action appear first. Click Go to Page to go to the corresponding Setup page for that metric, where you can act on it.

Status Levels for Health and Usage Cards

To encourage you to quickly resolve key issues with the greatest impact, cards representing metrics with a higher-urgency status appear first. Salesforce determines the status level for cards that contain multiple metrics by the highest-severity metric, and orders the cards on the page according to that status.

Health and usage cards use these statuses, listed from highest to lowest urgency.

Label Color Meaning
Action Recommended Red Act on this metric now. It's affecting the health of your org.
Monitor Closely Orange Watch this metric. If the trend continues, conditions can worsen.
Consider Blue Review this metric when you have time. Other statuses take priority.
Healthy Green This metric is in a good state. No action needed.
Pending Gray The card isn’t ready to interpret. The related feature isn’t available, processing isn’t complete, or there isn’t enough data yet to conclude.
Note
Note

The Org Health and Usage page is available to all Salesforce admins and users who have both Customize Application and Modify All Data permissions. If you've turned on Setup with Agentforce, the cards that show the metrics include an Ask Agentforce chat option. Ask Agentforce chat gives you the power to explore your metrics with an agent. For more information, see Org Health and Usage in Setup with Agentforce.

Available Health and Usage Signals

These metrics are available as cards on the Org Health and Usage page. Salesforce shows only the cards that you have access to and that are applicable to your org. If a card is missing from your Org Health and Usage page, check that it’s available and that you have permission to view it.

Apex

The Apex card monitors the use of Apex limits and the health of your Apex classes, focusing on your org’s namespace. Click Go to Page to review your running asynchronous jobs from the Apex Jobs page and your classes from the Apex Classes page. See Monitor the Apex Job Queue and Manage Apex Classes.

Consumption of Key Apex Limits

Apex limits include the rolling 24-hour asynchronous job limit and the scheduled jobs limit. If you exceed these limits, new jobs are rejected. For limit calculation details, see Salesforce Platform Apex Limits. To learn how to abort an asynchronous job, see this knowledge article. To prevent execution failures if your org reaches or exceeds the asynchronous job limit, consider enabling elastic limits (beta). Review your asynchronous approach to make sure that you utilize the most efficient process for your use case.

Invalid Apex Classes

Salesforce marks Apex classes invalid (IsValid = false) whenever underlying dependencies, such as referenced objects or fields, change. Classes remain invalid until they’re recompiled successfully. Apex classes that fail to compile cause any dependent requests to fail. Routinely monitor compilation results so that you can detect invalid classes and respond to compilation issues. To learn more about recompiling Apex classes, see this knowledge article.

Outdated Apex Classes

These classes use Apex API versions earlier than nine releases behind the latest version. More recent Apex API versions provide improved performance, security, and compatibility. See Apex Versioned Behavior Changes and Setting the Salesforce API Version for Classes and Triggers in the Apex Developer Guide.
