Set Up Service Resource Preferences

Allow workers to specify preferred daily operating hours. When the scheduling tools run, the scheduling engine factors these preferences into match scoring through the Maximized Preferences objective.

• Prepare to Use Service Resource Preferences
  After you set up service resource preferences, workers can specify the days and times that they want to work. When planners then assign workers to shifts, the scheduling tools take each worker's preference into account.
• Submit a Service Resource Preference
  Service resource preferences allow you, the worker, to take ownership of your schedule. Submit a service resource preference that reflects the hours that you'd like to work. When planners schedule shifts, the scheduling tools consider your preferences.
