          Create a Special Pricing Term Benefit

          Rebate program managers can create special pricing term benefits for a special pricing term to define a tiered ship and debit incentive structure with qualifying ranges and incentives for each range. Differentiate the reference prices or discounts that partners get by the quantity of products they sell, the period they sell the products in, or both.

          Required Editions

          Available in Developer, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Ship and Debit Process Management enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create a Ship and Debit Program: Ship and Debit Process Management Admin permission set
          1. From a Rebate Partner Special Pricing Term record, click New on the Benefits related list of the Related tab.
          2. Provide these details.
            Field Description
            Rebate Partner Special Pricing Term The Rebate Partner Special Pricing Term that you associate a special pricing term benefit to. When you create special pricing term benefits from the Related tab of a special pricing term, this value defaults to the current special pricing term.
            Name Name of the special pricing term benefit.
            Minimum Quantity The minimum quantity of a product in a transaction that’s eligible for the special pricing term benefit. The unit of measure for this value is specified in the Product Unit Quantity of Measure field of the associated special pricing term.
            Maximum Quantity The maximum quantity of a product in a transaction that’s eligible for the special pricing term benefit. The unit of measure for this value is specified in the Product Unit Quantity of Measure field of the associated special pricing term.
            Effective Start Date The date that the rebate program member becomes eligible for the special pricing term benefit.
            Effective End Date The date until when the rebate program member is eligible for the special pricing term benefit.
            Reference Price Per Unit The price of a product unit applied as part of a special pricing term benefit.
            Discount The discount applied as a part of the special pricing term benefit.
            Discount By Percent Indicates whether the discount is given by percentage (true) or amount (false).
            Note
            Note You must specify the Maximum Quantity and Minimum Quantity fields, the Effective Start Date and Effective End Date fields, or both sets of fields.
            Note
            Note Special pricing term benefit records that are related to the same special pricing term can’t have overlapping minimum and maximum quantity values or effective start and end date and times.
          3. Save your changes.

          • If Partner A sells 21–30 units of Hammer X Drills, they’re offered a reference price of $800 for each unit.
          • If Partner A sells 31–40 units of Hammer X Drills, they’re offered a reference price of $675 for each unit.
          • If Partner B sells Hammer Y Drills between January 1 and March 31, 2023, they’re offered a reference price of $2,700 for each unit.
          • If Partner B sells Hammer Y Drills between April 1 and June 30, 2023, they’re offered a reference price of $2,500 for each unit.
