Service representatives can create a case for a member when interacting with them from
the member’s Loyalty Program Member record. The case is automatically associated with the member’s
Contact record.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance,
Developer, and Unlimited Editions that have Loyalty Management
enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To associate a case with a loyalty program member:
Loyalty Management
In the Loyalty Programs tab, select your loyalty program.
Select a loyalty program member.
On the loyalty program member’s profile page, click Cases, and then
click New.
If the Cases related list isn’t available on the Loyalty Program Member page layout, add
it to the page layout from Setup.
The Contact Name and Account Name fields are prepopulated.
Enter the case details.
Save your changes.
After you create the case, the case is associated with the member’s Contact record and
isn’t listed on the Case related list of the member’s Loyalty Program Member record. If you want
to list the case on the member’s Loyalty Program Member record, associated the member and the
case in a Loyalty Program Member Case record.
You can add a member to a case from the Loyalty Program Members related list on the Case
record or create a Loyalty Program Member Case record.
