Create Rebate Types Using Program Rebate Type Records

Create and configure rebate types directly from a rebate program record to define incentive structures, eligibility criteria, and payout logic.

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Rebate Management enabled

User Permissions Needed
To create rebate types:	Read and Edit access on Program Rebate Type

From the App Launcher, find and select Rebate Programs.
Select a rebate program.
Click the Related tab.
In the Program Rebate Types related list, click New.
Enter the basic details, including Name, Status, Calculation Type, and Measure Type.
Select or configure a Calculation Definition. Specify the calculation details:
- Measure Field
- Benefit Qualifier Field
- Calculation Method (Retrospective or Stepped)
(Optional) To limit applicable products, select a Product Filter Type and add products.
Save your changes.

After you create the rebate type, define the specific payout thresholds in the Benefits related list. See Create Benefits for a Rebate Type.
