          Create Accrual Periods for a Rebate Program

          Create accrual periods to establish the specific timeframes for tracking financial liabilities within your program.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced enabled.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create accrual period: Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced Admin permission set.

          To create accrual periods:

          1. Navigate to a Rebate Program record.
          2. Click the Related tab.
          3. In the Rebate Program Accrual Periods related list, click New.
          4. Define these fields:
            • Name: (e.g., January 2026 Accrual Period)
            • Start Date: The first day of the specific liability tracking cycle.
            • End Date: The final day of the specific liability tracking cycle.
          5. Click Save.

          Repeat this process for the total number of periods required for your program's duration (e.g., repeat 12 times to build a standard monthly tracking cadency for an annual program).
