Create and Manage Advanced Rebate and Accruals Programs
Learn how to define independent frequencies, manage member accruals, and perform adjustments.

- Create an Advanced Rebate Program
Create a rebate program to offer incentives to your partners when they meet agreed-upon targets. Specify the details of the program such as its duration, accrual period frequency, and program description. - Create Rebate Types for a Program
Define a type of incentive for members with an advanced rebate type. In Advanced mode, the engine uses Source Matching Fields to link high-volume transactions to members. Create rebate types from the Related tab of a rebate program record. Define rebate types to specify the incentive structure within a rebate program. A rebate program can include multiple rebate types, each representing a different strategy, such as volume, revenue, or growth. To configure a rebate type, create a Program Rebate Type record. Define the calculation logic, eligibility, benefit thresholds, and product associations to determine how rebates are calculated and paid out. - Enroll Members to a Rebate Program
Add partners, dealers, and distributors as members to a rebate program. Add Account records to a program to enroll members. Add one account at a time, or use an existing Accounts list view to enroll multiple members. You can enroll an account in multiple rebate programs. View the enrolled members on the Members related list of a rebate program record. - Create Accrual Periods for a Rebate Program
Create accrual periods to establish the specific timeframes for tracking financial liabilities within your program. - Define Product Eligibility for Rebate Types
To define when an advanced rebate applies to a product or a list of products, configure a filter on the program rebate type. The calculation engine uses this filter in Data Cloud to include or exclude specific transactions from the accrual and payout calculations. - Add Benefits and Benefit Mappings for a Rebate Type
Create benefits for an advanced rebate type to define thresholds and how payouts are scaled. You can introduce granularity by adding benefit-mapping criteria, which the engine uses as Anchors during high-volume processing in Data Cloud.
