Define Product Eligibility for Rebate Types

To define when an advanced rebate applies to a product or a list of products, configure a filter on the program rebate type. The calculation engine uses this filter in Data Cloud to include or exclude specific transactions from the accrual and payout calculations.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To define a product filter Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced Admin permission set.
  1. On the Product Filter Type field, select an option.
    • Include Products: Only transactions containing these products are processed by the Data Cloud engine.
    • Exclude Products: Transactions containing these products are ignored during calculation.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Click the Related tab on the Program Rebate Type record.
  4. In the Included or Excluded Products related list, select an option.
    • Add Product: Adds one product at a time.
    • Add Product List: Adds a list of products.
    • Delete All: Deletes all products in the Included or Excluded Products list.

Note Ensure that eligibility criteria fields are selected in the Transaction Journal datasource node and flow through all join nodes to the Writeback to Accrual and Payout Input Ingest DLO node in your cloned Data Preparation DPE.
