Export Data from a Digital Wallet Data 360 Report
To analyze Digital Wallet consumption data in an external business intelligence (BI) tool, you can export the data from one of our Data 360 pre-defined reports or a custom Data 360 report built on the TenantEnrichedUsageEvent data lake object (DLO).
Be sure that you have the appropriate permissions to:
- Access Digital Wallet.
- Access Data 360 data objects and the data space that contains the TenantEnrichedUsageEvent DLO.
- Create and customize reports.
- Export report data.
If you require assistance, contact your Salesforce admin. For more information, see Salesforce Help: Digital Wallet Permissions.
Exporting your Digital Wallet data is the best way to get clear visibility into your credit consumption. Pulling this info into your own spreadsheets or BI tools makes it much easier to spot spending trends and budget accurately so you don't run out of credits unexpectedly. Plus, having this data on hand is useful when you want to double-check costs or justify a budget increase.
For security and governance reasons, Data 360 restricts data downloads. However, you can export data from a Data 360 report. You can:
- Build your own Data 360 report based on the standard consumption tags provided by the TenantEnrichedUsageEvent DLO.
- Start with one of our pre-defined reports. If you use a pre-defined report, you can save it as a new report, and then make any necessary changes to include the Digital Wallet consumption data you require. You must save the report as a new report because you can’t directly modify any of the pre-defined reports.
After the report contains the required consumption data, you can export it to a supported download format.
If you plan to build your own report, see Salesforce Help: Build Custom Reports Using Standard Consumption Tags. These steps illustrate how to export consumption data based on a pre-defined Digital Wallet report.
- From the App Launcher, select Digital Wallet.
-
From the Digital Wallet (Consumption Cards) home page, click View Consumption
Insights by Tags.
If you have any issues accessing the dashboard, see Salesforce Help: Access and View the Consumption Insights Dashboard.
-
Select a report, then click View Report (1).
In this example, we’re going to export consumption data by agent.
- From the Edit dropdown, select Save As.
- Select a name and the folder for the report, then click Save.
- (Optional) Click Edit to make any necessary changes.
- From the Edit dropdown, select Export.
-
Select Details Only, and the format for the report data.
- Click Export.
You’re now ready to import the data to a spreadsheet or other BI tool.
