Access and View the Consumption Insights Dashboard
The Digital Wallet Consumption Insights dashboard gives you an easy entry point to the out-of-the-box (predefined) reports that leverage standard consumption tags. These reports give you a granular view of your consumption by agent, action, and other consumption sources. Each dashboard widget shows a bar chart so you can quickly visualize consumption information, and has a link to its corresponding report.
Ways to access the reports:
- From Digital Wallet (Consumption Cards) home page, click View Consumption Insights by Tags.
- From Dashboards, select Digital Wallet Consumption Insights by Tags . If you don't see the dashboard listed, you can find it in its corresponding folder.
If you didn't add the TenantEnrichedUsageEvent data lake object (DLO) to a data space, you see blank reports when you open the dashboard. If you click to view a report, you see this error message.
Can't find DLO TenantEnrichedUsageEvent. To view the data in a report, verify that it exists and is added
to a dataspace.
Add the TenantEnrichedUsageEvent DLO to a data space, as indicated in Prepare to View Digital Wallet Out-of-the Box Reports.
What If the Dashboard Doesn’t Contain Any Data?
In rare cases, you see that the reports don’t contain any data when you launch the View
Consumption Insights by Tags dashboard. Also, you see this message in each report:
This report can no longer be edited or run. Your administrator has disabled all
reports for the custom object, or its relationships have changed.
You can fix the issue by deleting the dashboard and reports so they can be reinstalled. Carefully follow the steps in Salesforce Help: Troubleshoot Digital Wallet.
What If a Report Has No Data?
Some widgets in the View Consumption Insight by Tags dashboard are empty if their corresponding reports contain no data. A report with no data can occur if your company isn’t using a referenced feature or product, or if you haven’t added the required DLO to a data space.
When data is available, refresh the entire dashboard or a specific report.
Can I Modify the Provided Reports?
Not recommended. Instead, modify and then use Save As to create a new report. This way, when we update any of the provided reports, you receive those changes, and our changes are independent from yours.
