            Add a Subagent from the Asset Library in the Legacy Builder

            With standard subagents, your agents can start handling common business use cases quickly. You can create subagents and actions that are tailored to your business needs. When you add these subagents and actions to an agent, the agent gets its own, independent copy. Changes to template subagents and actions within the Asset Library aren't automatically sync'd to subagents and actions within your agent. Changes made to one agent's subagents or actions don't affect another agent's subagents or actions.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. Required add-on licenses vary by agent type.
            User Permissions Needed
            To assign a standard subagent to an agent: Manage AI Agents AND the required permissions for your agent type
            1. From the Agentforce Agents Setup page, launch your agent in Agentforce Builder.
            2. If your agent is active, deactivate it.
            3. From the sidebar, select Subagents.
            4. On the Subagents panel, click New, and then select Add from Asset Library.
            5. Select one or more standard subagents you want to add to your agent, and then click Finish.

            The subagents you’ve added are assigned to your agent and visible on the Subagents panel in Agentforce Builder. To test your new subagent, restart the preview conversation to apply your changes.

            After you've added your subagent to your agent, you can create a new version and edit any subagent fields or add or remove subagent actions. Your changes apply to a single agent.
