          Add a Prompt Template as an Action

          Add a prompt template as an action within another prompt template to reuse logic and incorporate its output into your prompt. Invoke one prompt template from another to build consistent, modular prompt workflows.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Platform, or Einstein or Agentforce for Sales or Service add-on, or Agentforce Foundations
          User Permissions Needed
          To create and manage prompt templates in Prompt Builder:

          Prompt Template Manager permission set

          • Manage Prompt Templates
          • Execute Prompt Templates

          OR

          Customize Application permission set

          Before you begin, make sure that the prompt template you want to use as an action is active and that it has the required inputs configured.

          1. In Prompt Builder, open an existing prompt template or create one.
          2. In the Resources panel, click Add.
          3. Select Prompt Template as the action type.
          4. Select an active prompt template from the list.
          5. Click Add. Configure the prompt template action to use the specified inputs when the prompt runs.
