Align Report and Dashboard Charts with Your Corporate Branding

Apply a consistent, professional look to all your charts without the need to manually select colors for each element. Configure a brand palette once in your org’s theme settings and apply them to report and dashboard charts.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Essentials, Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To view company information: View Setup and Configuration
To activate, create, edit, or preview a theme: Customize Application

Before you begin, set up and activate a theme with your brand colors. For more information, see Activate a Theme.

Apply Brand Palette to Dashboard Widgets

  1. Open a dashboard in edit mode.
  2. Click the Edit Dashboard Properties Edit dashboard properties icon icon.
  3. In the Dashboard Palette section, select Brand.
  4. Click Save.

Apply Brand Palette to Report Charts

  1. Open a report in run mode or edit mode.
  2. Click the Chart Properties Chart properties icon icon.
  3. To apply the brand color to your chart, select Brand from the chart color options.
  4. Click Save.
