Control Dashboard Data Visibility

A dashboard displays data from each widget’s source report. You can control which data is visible based on the running user.

  A dashboard viewer sees data based on the assigned privileges and access of the dashboard’s running user. A static dashboard displays data using the configured user’s privileges. A dynamic dashboard displays data based on the logged-in user.

  To provide individualized views of data without configuring separate dashboards and folders, create a dynamic dashboard. A dynamic dashboard shows each user only the data that they have access to.
