Einstein Report Formula Generation Error Messages
If Einstein’s response doesn’t meet your expectations, you can generate another response by entering a new request. On the other hand, if your request doesn’t provide the information needed, Einstein lets you know. Either way, just try again, phrasing your request differently.

If the description in your request to Einstein doesn’t provide enough information or the relevant information needed for the context, Einstein provides an error message.

Try describing the calculation using different words. | Einstein couldn’t match your words with fields or functions needed to build a formula. To review what’s available, click the Fields and Functions tabs inside the formula builder. |
| It looks like you want to apply the [X] function to the [Y] field, but that's a [Z type] field. Try your request again, but use different words to describe the field and function combination. | The function that Einstein identified from your request isn’t supported with the type of data in the field. For example, Einstein can’t apply the MAX function to a text field. Adjust the wording in your request so that Einstein can identify the fields and functions appropriate for your formula. |
| I couldn't generate a formula. Try describing the calculation using different words. | Your request didn’t provide enough information for Einstein to map your words to available fields and functions. Be sure to describe an operation or function that uses fields in the report’s objects. |
| I can't complete your request because you reached the character limit. Shorten your request and try again. | Einstein has a limit on the size of the request for report formula generation. Try another request with fewer words. |
