Create a Report or Dashboard Subfolder in Lightning
Experience
You can create report or dashboard folders within other report or dashboard folders in
Lightning Experience. Up to 3 subfolder levels are allowed.

Available in: Enhanced Folder Sharing
User Permissions

To create report folders:
Create Report Folders permission and manage access for the root folder in the
tree
To create dashboard folders:
Create Dashboard Folders permission and manage access for the root folder in
the tree
Open the parent folder on the Analytics, Reports, or Dashboards tab.
On the Analytics tab, select Create | Lightning | Folder, or on the Reports or Dashboards tab, click New
Folder.
Name the subfolder. The name must be unique. You can’t have more than one report or
dashboard folder with the same name as another report or dashboard folder.
Click Save.
The subfolder is created and added to the list of items in the folder you started from.
You can select the subfolder when saving a report or dashboard.
