Instead of using a widget wizard to create the step, you can build your own step using the explorer. Unlike with the widget wizard, you can customize your step, like adding multiple measures.
One way to create a step with explorer is to clip an exploration to a dashboard. For information about this method, see Clip a Lens to a Dashboard

To open the steps panel, click the dashboard header.
Click Create Step.

To sort the results, show the results using a logarithmic scale, or show the SAQL query, click .
When viewing the SAQL query, you can edit it to override the query generated by the explorer. For more information about SAQL query steps, see Create a Step with the SAQL Editor
Wave adds the step to the steps panel, making it available for use by other widgets in the dashboard.
Save the dashboard so you don’t lose your changes.
