          Make the Dashboard Widgets Interactive

          Make the Dashboard Widgets Interactive

You can make the widgets in CRM Analytics dashboards interactive. For example, you can filter a widget to show only results for the region that’s selected in a list widget. Or, the value of a number widget can change to red when it falls below a threshold. An interaction can also provide progressive navigation and exploration, revealing detailed information with a single click action.

          • Filter Dashboard Results with Faceting
Faceting makes dashboards interactive. For example, select a sales region in a list widget and see accounts from that region in a table widget. When you enable faceting, selections made on chart, date, list, range, and toggle widgets automatically filter other widgets in the dashboard. You can also use targeted faceting to include or exclude specific queries from your faceting selections.
          • Create Interactions with Clicks
Interactions, previously called bindings, are the most powerful way to specify relationships between different queries on your dashboard. Creating the right syntax for an interaction can be complex. With the Advanced Interaction Editor, create, edit, and preview your interactions with clicks.
          • Single-Click Widget Interactions
Add single-click interactions to your dashboard widgets to curate data journeys for your users. You can change a static dashboard into a dynamic navigation experience that progressively reveals details. A single-click in an overview widget takes you directly to a detailed page, opens a lens for cohesive exploration, or starts a flow.
