            Alternative Payment Method Fields

            The Alternative Payment Method object represents a payment method that doesn’t have a defined Commerce Orders object, such as Card Payment Method or Digital Wallet.

            Note Depending on your page layout and field-level security settings, some fields aren’t visible or editable.

            This table lists the fields on the Alternative Payment Method object.

            Field Label Description
            Account The account for the alternative payment method.
            Audit Email The email address of the alternative payment method owner.
            Comments Comments about the alternative payment method.
            Company Name The company name for the alternative payment method.
            Gateway Token The tokenized form of the alternative payment method, returned by the gateway.
            Gateway Token Details The unique tokenized ID generated by the payment gateway when the alternative payment method first interacts with the gateway. The ID identifies the alternative payment method during future transactions.
            IP Address The IP address for the alternative payment method owner.
            MAC Address The MAC address of the user who initiated the payment.
            Nickname The nickname for the alternative payment method.
            Owner Name The user who owns the alternative payment method record.
            Payment Gateway The ID of the payment gateway entity used to handle transactions from the alternative payment method.
            Payment Method Address The user address column type. First name and last name are listed as separate fields.
            Phone The phone number of the alternative payment method owner.
            Processing Mode

            Indicates whether the alternative payment method was created in Salesforce or externally.

            Possible values are:

            • External—Indicates that the alternative payment method record was created by a method other than Commerce Payments Connect API.
            • Salesforce - Indicates that the alternative payment method record was created by Commerce Payments Connect API.
            Registered Email The email address of the alternative payment method owner.
            Status

            The status of the alternative payment method.

            Possible values are:

            • Active - The payment platform can use the alternative payment method to make payments. Active alternative payment methods can’t be deleted.
            • Canceled - The payment platform can’t use the payment method to make payments. A value of Canceled can’t be changed to Active or Inactive.
            • InActive - The payment platform can’t use the payment method to make payments. A value of InActive can be changed to Active or Canceled.
