Set Up Prerequisites for Exchanges RMA

There are a few prerequisites necessary before you can set up Exchanges with RMA for your org.

          Required Editions

          1. Set up an inventory source to enable reservations. Reservations reduce out of stock errors by placing a reservation on a product in a cart.
These steps are for B2B and D2C Commerce only. The steps for B2C Commerce are later in this setup guide.
          2. Configure user permissions. Users need either the System Administrator profile or the Identity User profile. You can use a provided permission set as is or clone and customize it.
            1. Go to Setup.
            2. In the Quick Find box, find and select Permission Sets.
            3. Select a permission set.
            Permission Set Description
Order Management Agent Lets a user process an exchange with RMA for a customer.
Order Management Operations Manager Lets a user configure exchanges with RMA and process an exchange with RMA for a customer.
          3. Enable Optional Price Books. If you ran the Commerce Setup Assistant, this is already done. Otherwise, see the Order Management section of the Commerce Setup.
