A delivery estimation contains information about a store and sales channel, including
hours, processing times, and whether it supports Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS). The
delivery estimation sets processing and store hour information for an entire location group. You
can change this information for individual locations on the Location Assignment tab.
Before setting up a delivery estimation, complete all prerequisites.
In the App Launcher, search for and select Order
Management.
Click the down arrow on the top dropdown list and select Order Fulfillment
Setup.
On the Delivery Estimations tab, click Add a Delivery Estimation
or New.
Select your associated channel.
Select a location group.
If you’re using standard routing, make sure that your location has a country and
postal code.
Enter a name and external reference for the delivery estimation.
Select a routing type.
The routing type determines what logic is used when calculating delivery estimations.
Standard routing uses Salesforce’s default order routing logic, which determines an
order’s route based on inventory availability, distance, and number of splits. This route
is used to calculate the delivery estimation.
Enter the processing time and processing time unit.
Select an existing Business Hour Option or create one.
Click New Business Hour.
Name your business hours.
Select a time zone.
Set your business hours for the store or sales channel.
