Set up at least one sales channel or store and location group.
Align the external references of your locations and shipping methods across products. For
example, if your location’s external reference is SF1 in Order Management, set it to SF1 in
both Commerce Delivery Services and B2C Commerce.
Add time zone and country code information to location objects.
Set up at least one
managed shipping carrier and method.
Assign at least one of these permission sets to each user.
Order Management Operations Manager—Complete access to objects and APIs.
Order Management Agent—View access only.
Order Management Shopper—API access only.
Turn on Delivery Estimation Service at Setup | Feature Settings | Order Management | Setup.
(Optional) On the setup page, in the quick find box, go to Order Management | Sharing Settings. Set Delivery Estimation Setup to Public Read/Write for both Default Internal
and Default External access.
Note This step lets users sync a delivery estimation that they
didn’t create. Without this step, only a system admin or the user who created the delivery
estimation can sync it.
(Optional) On the setup page, in the quick find box, go to Omnichannel
Inventory and enable Omnichannel Inventory.
Note This step lets users select a
routing logic other than static.
