Set Up Bulk Actions in a Service Flow

Set Up Bulk Actions in a Service Flow

You can use all Order Management service flows out of the box, and you can also customize a flow and expand its functionality. Bulk actions let your customer service representatives perform the same action on multiple selected products, up to 100.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.

By default, bulk actions are enabled if the flow was copied after the Winter ’25 release. If you copied the flow before the Winter ’25 release, copy the flow template again.

You can enable bulk actions in these flows: cancel, discount, return, and RMA.

Bulk actions are useful for stores that service large orders primarily using the same action. For example, a store placed an order from a manufacturer for a dozen different styles of shirts in the wrong size, and they want to cancel the order. With a bulk action, a representative can select the products and choose “Wrong Size” as the reason for cancellation in just a few clicks.

          1. Click Setup at the top of the page, and then select Setup.
          2. In the Quick Find box, enter flows, and select Flows.
          3. Select the flow that you’re customizing.
          4. In the flow, open the Manager tab.
          5. Find and select bulkActionEnabled.
          6. To enable bulk actions, set the default value to true. To disable bulk actions, set it to false.
          7. Set the setBulkActionDisplay value to the number of products that must be in an order for bulk actions to be available.
          8. Click Save.
          9. If you’re ready to activate the flow, click Activate.
