Create a Custom Routing Rule
Create a custom rule to modify routing based on any standard or custom attribute available on Order Management objects. Custom rules can only be filter types, which exclude the locations that you define using conditions.
After you create a rule group, you can create a custom rule within a group.
- In Order Management, go to Order Fulfillment Setup.
- In the Rules Management tab, find and expand your rule group as needed. You can’t add a rule to a published rule group.
- In the group’s action menu, click New Rule.
- Name your rule.
- Select a rule type. A filter type directly excludes locations. A weighted type considers all rule weights and selects the best location.
- Optionally, enter a start and end date and time.

Configure your rule’s conditions.
- Set the condition logic. A rule can require all conditions, any condition, or a custom logic to be met.
- Select an object and a field on that object.
- Set an operator and enter a value for the field.
- After creating conditions for your rule, click Save.
