          Provision a B2C Commerce Connection

          Provision a B2C Commerce Connection

Set up and activate the B2C Commerce storefront integration or related features.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.

To avoid provisioning failure, deactivate all connections from the core org if you’re refreshing or deleting the org or if you’re resetting/dbiniting a B2C instance. This step is important when

          • The org moves to a different instance
          • B2C Commerce moves to a different realm
          • The core org's mydomain changes

If you’re reprovisioning a previous connection to a refreshed B2C Commerce sandbox instance, or a previous connection that wasn’t explicitly deactivated, contact Salesforce Customer Support.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter B2C Commerce Connections, and then select B2C Commerce Connections.
          2. If you’re adding a connection to a B2C Commerce instance that already has at least one connection, find it in the Tenant Connections section and click Edit. Otherwise, if you’re provisioning the first connection to a B2C Commerce instance, follow these steps:
            1. In the Tenant Connections section, click New Connection.
            2. In the Connection Name box, enter a descriptive name for the connection.
You can change the connection name at any time by selecting it on this page.
            3. In the B2C Instance ID box, enter your B2C Commerce realm instance ID. To get your instance ID, log into B2C Commerce Business Manager and navigate to Administration | Global Preferences | Salesforce Order Management Configuration. The Tenant ID displayed on that page is the instance ID.
            4. Click Save. The Allow Tenant Linkage window appears.
            5. Click Allow.
          3. In the Available Connection Types box, select the types that you want to provision, then move them to the Selected Connection Types box by clicking the right arrow.
          4. Click Save.

The new connections appear in the Tenant Connections list. Depending on a connection’s type, its status can be Provisioned or Queued. When a queued connection’s provisioning is completed, its status changes to Provisioned and a notification is sent to the System Administrator email address.
