When implementing logic for rerouting orders that weren’t fully routed or that had a
reservation canceled, information about previous routing attempts is useful. To manage this
information, use the Order Summary Routing Schedule object and the Routing Attempts field on the
Order Summary object.
An order summary routing schedule record represents a single attempt to route an order. It
includes the scheduled date and time, status (Scheduled, Completed, or Abandoned), and reason,
which is a customizable list of values.
How you use order summary routing schedules is up to you. You can create them when scheduling
future routing attempts or to record past attempts. However, after you set the status to
Completed or Abandoned, you can’t change the scheduled date and time.
You can record the number of routing attempts made for an order summary in the Routing Attempts
field.
