Order Entry creates an unmanaged order on the Salesforce org, not in the B2C, D2C, or B2B Commerce storefront. An unmanaged order consists of order summary records that are excluded from the fulfillment and payment processes. An unmanaged order must be processed with an external system, such as an ERP system. Then the corresponding data must be updated in Salesforce as needed.
Unmanaged orders have some limitations.
Users with the Edit Unmanaged Order Summaries permission or the B2B Commerce Integrator User permission can modify most fields on records associated with an unmanaged order summary. For details, see Object Reference in the Salesforce developer documentation.
