After you set up or customize interaction logs, you can assign them to different user profiles.

|Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions|
|To assign interaction logs:||“Customize Application”|
- From Setup, enter Interaction Log Layouts in the Quick Find box, then select Interaction Log Layouts.
- Click Log Layout Assignment.
- Choose an interaction log to assign to each user profile.
- Click Save.
You can't assign interaction logs to portal user profiles because Salesforce console apps aren’t available to portal users.
