Create the Audience Segment in Data Cloud
The audience segment consists of customers who have a high engagement rate with email campaigns. To create an automated email about new services, follow these steps in Data Cloud to create an audience segment.
- In Data 360, on the Segments tab, click
New.
- For Data Space, select default.
- For Segment On, select the Unified Individual data model object (DMO).
- Name the segment New Service Promo, and add a description.
- Click Next.
- For Publish Type, select Standard Publish with a publish schedule of

hours. The type determines how much engagement data to use in the segment. The schedule determines how frequently to refresh the data.
- For Publish Schedule, enter a start date and time, an expiration date, and click Save.
- In the related attributes list, drag Engagement Channel Action to
the segment canvas.
- For measurement, select Count with the operator At Least, and enter the value 3.
- Set the operator to Is Equal To and enter a value of Click.
- In the related attributes list, drag Engagement Date Time to the
segment canvas.
- Set the operator to Last Number of Months and enter a value of 3.
- Click Done, and then click Save.
