ISV Ecosystem Activation Using the Activation Toolkit
The Data 360 Activation Toolkit allows Independent Software Vendors
(ISV) to build activation platforms on AppExchange. These platforms let subscriber organizations
install and use ISV activation services. It lets them to match Data 360 data
with destination data payloads and use advanced features like multi-key matching, contact point
filtering, and supporting additional DMOs in Activation Membership.

The Activation Toolkit is a metadata-driven solution that streamlines activation in
Data 360. It enables ISVs to onboard activation platforms that support grouping by segment
and ID type to unlock additional attributes. It also allows business users to connect and map
Data 360 data to specific schemas required by customer engagement platforms.
Key capabilities include:
Onboarding destinations—ISVs upload destination metadata, which is packaged and
distributed to customer orgs via Salesforce Package Manager.
Creating activation targets and activations—the toolkit configures authentication, schema
mapping, and activation workflows based on destination metadata.
Flexible activation—supports batch activations, multi-key matching, attribute mapping from
any DMO, and dynamic filtering for personalized experiences.
The toolkit lets marketing, sales, and data teams to activate both known and anonymous
first-party data across external platforms. You can map attributes from any standard or custom
data model object (DMO) in Data 360, optimizing campaign execution.
