Transform Data with Predictions and Prescriptions

Transform Data with Predictions and Prescriptions

Enrich a data model object (DMO) with outputs. Use a data transform to add predictive and prescriptive intelligence to your data. Run data transformations and save the outputs, such as prediction scores, on a DMO. Use each row of the output to create derived columns and run calculations. You can also build data visualizations using output data saved on the DMO in other Salesforce applications, such as in Tableau, CRM Analytics, and app templates.

          1. In Data Transforms, click New.
          2. Select Batch Data Transform.
          3. Click Data Model Objects and select the data space where you want to store the output.
          4. Select the DMO that you want to add the input data to and the fields that you want to use.

If you change the DMO during the transformation, your data will reset and you must start over.

          5. To add a transform node, click + on the DMO.
          6. To initiate the data transform node, click AI Model.
          7. Select the AI model, and click Next to launch the model in the transform editor.
          8. On the Map Fields tab, map your model schema fields with your input fields.
          9. On the Modify Output tab, to include factors with the highest impact on each prediction, click Top Predictors. This setting appends a description and an impact column on your dataset.

This tab appears only for Salesforce-created models.

          10. Select up to three predictors.
          11. Preview your data and check the columns in your output DMO.
          12. To save your prediction outputs in the DMO, click Apply.

To visualize your data inputs, upload your DMO to other applications in Salesforce, such as CRM Analytics.
