          Audience Match Count for Advertising Activations

          Match Count is the approximate number of users from your audience segments who have been successfully matched on an external advertising partner platform (like Facebook, Google Ads, or TikTok). Monitor the match count of your segment list activations to understand the reach and size of the audience you are activating.

          Available with add-on license: Ad Audiences

          The match count value is shown in the Insights tab for activations to these advertising platforms.

          Note Match count values for Conversion API (CAPI) targets are not shown.

          Interpreting the Match count for specific partners

          • Google DV360 and  Google Ads: The match count value is based on the Google Search count.
          • Amazon: The match count value is based on the Amazon Marketing Cloud.
          • Meta (Facebook): The match count value is an approximate upper bound.
          • LinkedIn: The match count for company list activation signifies the number of matched individuals associated with the matched company lists. 

          Recommendations for Optimizing Your Match Count 

          • When you map your data for activation, use all applicable attributes as match keys.
          • If you have multiple values for attributes like email addresses or phone numbers, add them during activation. You can include up to 5 values for each profile in each field.
          • Properly format the consent values based on the requirements of the advertising platform.
