          Create a Communication Capping Configuration

          Create the communication capping configuration and associate it with a data space in Data Cloud. You can apply it to either all configured parameters or a specific subset. Each organization is limited to one active communication capping configuration.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.
          Permission Sets Needed
          To use Communication Capping:

          One of these permission sets:

          • Data Cloud Architect
          • Data Cloud Activation Manager
          1. In Data Cloud, click Communication Capping, and then click New.
          2. Select the parameters for which you want to create the capping rules.
          3. Select one or more data spaces to which the communication capping instance has been applied.
          4. Enter a name and an optional description for the communication capping.
          5. Click Save.

          After creating communication capping configuration, create the capping rules.
