Obtain an Individual ID
Learn how to obtain an Individual ID in Data 360.
You can obtain Individual Ids through three different methods: Segmentation, Source System, and Query API.
Via Segmentation
You can retrieve an Individual ID by creating a segment using any available identifying information as segment filter criteria. This information includes email address, phone number, or first and last name. You can activate your segment to Amazon S3. The published activation file includes the Individual IDs for the segment population.
Via Source System
When data is mapped to the Individual entity, you must map your imported data customer identifiers to the Individual ID field. This Individual ID field reflects the value from your Data Stream source. You can retrieve Individual IDs by consulting the source systems for your Data Streams.
Via Query API
You can retrieve an Individual ID by submitting a request to the Query API. Submit requests to the Query API using email address, phone number, or first and last name.
