Container Path

Some containers have multiple paths back to the segmentation entity. When a container has multiple access paths, you can select a path to help Data 360 understand how to build your segment.

Example

• An order for a used car has Buyer ID and Seller ID relating back to the individual. When using Order attributes as filter criteria, choosing a path determines which group of individuals is used to build the segment: car buyers or car sellers.
• A shopper purchased a product and then submitted a case about the product. You want users to be able to choose whether to build the segment using product criteria related to the purchase order or to the complaint.
