Clean Room Providers

Providers are publishers or companies that own a platform and can offer access to data or advertising space to other companies. Data 360 Clean Rooms enable providers to collaborate using Salesforce Data 360 clean rooms or AWS clean rooms. 

• If you’re a provider who uses Data 360 clean rooms, use Salesforce-provided collaboration templates or custom collaboration templates to offer use cases to consumers. 
• If you’re a provider who uses AWS clean rooms, use a Data 360 developer org to create custom collaboration templates supporting the use cases you want to offer. When a consumer invites you to collaborate, you can collaborate in the AWS clean room.

Providers can offer use cases in multiple ways. 

• To offer clean room use cases that are publicly discoverable by potential collaborators, create and publish your clean room packages on AppExchange. If you’re a provider using AWS clean rooms, use this method.
• To distribute your collaboration template to a specific collaborator as a proof of concept, create your clean room package as an unmanaged package. However, with this method, you can't offer upgraded or revised versions of the package.
• To collaborate with specific consumers, the consumer must add your org to their Data Cloud Org Allowlist and use the Salesforce-provided collaboration template for the collaboration.
